Jacob grew up with cycling on road, velodrome (track) and in the forest at a competetive level. Later when mountain biking was rising in the Alps he enjoyed riding trails around St. Anton exploring the alpine. With the quality of Cross and Gravel bikes the mountains and alpine terrain has become approachable for the cycling community. High alpine gravel roads and tracks for not only light weight climbers but also for rouleurs.
At the Piltriquitron in St. Anton we love cycling and the culture surrounding it. Our television shows all the big races and a small work shop gives you the chance to fix your bike for the day to come, while enjoying a Kwaremont beer or espresso in our garden.
Trail running is an impressive and unique way to enjoy the alpine landscape. In St. Anton you will find many trails in the valley, up high in the alpine and a combination of both. If you choose a week-end or a full week, many trail variations can be found. Lift supported high alpine trails can be found around Kapal, Galzig and Rendl mountains. Conny spends a lot of time running in the mountains so feel free to ask her for trails and routes.

The best place for a skier to stay in St Anton. Always nice breakfast that includes great tips for todays skiing. Much appreciated, the hosts really knows their way arround the Arlberg mountain. Piltriquitron has a warm and homely atmosphere, and the bbq is highly recommended. It is always nice to be Conny and Jacob’s guest. See you next winter!
Great atmosphere, delicate furniture, skiers’ breakfast and a calmness that you rarely find in an area like St.Anton. A coffee or beer in the common area in the afternoon while discussing today’s skiing experience and get updates and tips for your next day by the other guests and hosts makes Piltriquitron the perfect stay for ski enthusiasts.
The best place to stay in St Anton if you are serious about skiing!
A super stay in a relaxed and warm place. The atmosphere of the common area makes it a nice place to meet other guests for a chat after a day spend in the mountains. I’ve been there first time for kayaking in summer. Now I always return during winter for skiing and ski touring! Awesome place in a nice town!
We have been visiting Jacob and Conny at Piltriquitron for three years, always a pleasure. They are hospitable, welcoming and knows every corner of Arlberg, always happy to help finding todays skiing route or restaurant. I can happily recommend staying at Piltriquitron!.
